The doilies shown are all made with either #10 crochet cotton or DMC #8 and are completely washable and dryable. May be ironed or not, whichever you prefer. I use small amount of spray starch and a dry iron to give them some body, rather than doing a formal blocking process. Very simple to do and gives the doily a more finished look after washing.
This is just a very small sample of what is available in doily patterns. These are shown in different colors to give you an idea of what is available in colors. If you have a specific pattern requirement, please feel free to email me. I may already have your pattern.
I buy most of my crochet thread at http://www.herschners.com. You can follow the link below, click on crochet thread brand and/or size to see the colors that are available in the different brands. Most of the time I use either JP Coats, Grandma's Best or Lily #10 threads. DMC #8 is available in 238 different colors and Herschner's has a color list on their website also. Send me an email with your color preference. If I don't have your particular color on hand, it may take a little longer to ship your order, because I would have to wait for the thread to be shipped to me.
